Living Willow Kits

Due to very high transport costs I grow very little willow for living willow structures at Barfad nowadays. Sometimes I can help though, so please ask if you are interested in ordering a kit.

Kits contain the willow needed and instructions for building structures.

All structures should be planted during the winter or spring. During the first summer they will turn green as the willow sprouts. If the new growth is woven in during each winter the structures will gradually become thicker.

Domes: Domes are great for children’s dens - or as leafy green places for all ages to sit and muse, to read, to chat, or doze.
Max Diameter 3m = £140  (£52 p+p)
Max Diameter 2.5m = £96 (£48 p+p)
Max Diameter 2m = £55  (£40 p+p)

Fedges: Fedges are a cross between a fence and a hedge.
£6.50/meter (transport at £40 + 80p/m)

Transport costs are unavoidably crazy. However we do zap about Scotland quite often, so whenever possible we try to come to some arrangement to avoid them.

Kits don't include mulch, matting, plastic or bark chippings.
